Editorial policy
Select Future Guide aims to make personal planning ideas clear, fair, and useful without presenting opinion as fact or promising that one method fits everyone. We make room for uncertainty and keep claims proportionate to what we can support.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable sources and take care to distinguish established information, interpretation, and opinion. We avoid unsupported guarantees about outcomes. When a topic depends on circumstances or expertise beyond the scope of general guidance, we say so rather than presenting a universal answer.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial arrangements. Paid, sponsored, or partner material is clearly labelled wherever it appears, and commercial partners do not receive a promise of favourable editorial coverage.
Corrections and illustrations
If a reader spots a significant error, they can contact us with the relevant article and detail. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, making substantive changes clear. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where that applies, the image is identified as such.
A direction is chosen, then chosen again
Plans are useful when they leave room for real life. We favour clear questions, modest steps, and the freedom to revise.
